To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

James Edwards from San Jose California, and Collin Harrison from Atlanta Georgia, both attended McEachern High School. Although they did not talk much then, a crisis at Collin's home would bring them much closer together. James' parents were kind enough to let Collin stay over their house for the summer before Collin went off to college. James become very close friends in a matter of days, almost as if they knew each other forever. However, the next summer was the birth of 3.R.D. During a church youth meeting at the Edwards' house, James and Collin hooked up with Marcellus A. Dawson, wrote a song, and 3.R.D was born. Today they are looking to produce their debut album in June along with Marcellus' niece, Victoria Smith, who has the most beautiful voice. Together 3.R.D, Marcellus Dawson, and Victoria Smith will rock the entire world in the spring of 2011.
