To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

By: Albert Alvarez 67Mob Should not be slept on!I repeat, do not sleep on these lyrical snipers. I happen to love all music from all sorts, from Frank Sinatra to Nina Simone to Carlos Santana to Biggie Smalls. Hip Hop however is something that I have always loved, some may tell you that it is Hip Hop that is my true love and then boxing. I was told by a friend to peep this 67Mob out, and let me tell you that I am glad that my friend told me about these 4 very talented guys from the Big Apple. No doubt about it that 67Mob to me are diamonds in the rough, they are indeed gems. 67Mob is very refreshing to me and I'm sure that you will all agree, do yourselves a favor and log on to 67mob.com to peep them out for yourselves. To the boxing fans out there, check out the very street ''No ez way out'' video featuring none other than the Magic Man, Paulie Malignaggi. Enjoy, and if you didn't know, now you know!!!

Feb 03, 2011 – Lips, Grecaman, Chz & Big Sal Black of the Brooklyn Bred Hip Hop Family the 67 Mob finally return to the spotlight. After expanding both their buzz and credibility with their album "Raising the Bar", which featured such legendary hip hop veterans like Kool G Rap, AZ, Buckshot and Canibus, to name a few. The Bensonhurst Boys are back with another Hip Hop offering for their loyal fans and new recruits.

Much information about the "T.I.M.E" (Things I Must Earn) LP has been under lock and key, until now. After much anticipation the group has revealed the artwork and track listing for the release. The 19 song disc is produced by Domingo who has crafted tracks for seemingly everyone from Shaq to Rakim and anyone you can imagine in between.

"T.I.M.E." also features another cast of hip hop heavyweights the likes of Joel Ortiz, Sean Price and even the Blast Master himself KRS-1 makes an appearance. The first single from 67 Mob's "T.I.M.E." is set to be debuted shortly and the album itself is due out this March.
