biography
My name is Jeff, and I'm a songwriter, singer, guitarist, and producer from Denver, CO. I've been posting music to the web since 2001, when I started submitting to Song Fight. Since then, I've made a few albums, and a lot of orphan songs. I record by myself at home, relying heavily on programmed beats and synths -- though I do occasionally record from my midi keyboard and electronic drumkit.

I perform live only when prompted to by my Song Fight friends, and I have yet to find a way to perform my songs that I really like.

All my songs are provided with a Share-Alike Creative Commons license.

I understand what you mean about the organic response. After a while it's hard to tell if people love your actual musical output, or the points they get from your songs. Sometimes it's a combination of both, 'though.

Having said that; I have seen some great artists on T61 with minimal bump love at first. Then the right person hears them, and their numbers skyrocket. Of course, that was before a lot of the recent switches on the site. Tough to say how it all works now.
