Ana Silvera is a contemporary London born singer-songwriter. Her music is influenced by many musical styles, but is perhaps best described as an English version of ‘Nouvelle Chanson’ or ‘New Chanson’ shown both in the intense poeticism of her lyrics, and her classical piano style.

Currently, Ana Silvera is collaborating with New York based producer Brad Albetta (Martha Wainwright, Teddy Thompson), violinist/arranger Maxim Moston (Antony & the Johnsons, Keren Ann, Rufus Wainwright), and Jeff Langston (Antony and the Johnsons, Hercules and Love Affair)
An EP release (her first studio recording) is planned for Spring 2009.

Ana Silvera is operatically trained, and appeared with the English National Opera and also at the Royal Opera House when she was a teenager. In a previous incarnation, she also worked with Berlin-based producer Boris Blenn.
Ana Silvera has performed within the London area, as well as having held a residency at Berlin’s Café Harlem.
She is also a published writer on Samuel Beckett.
