Hi soul mates
I just love your wave to the music
Through the years I've had the honor to play with people from all over Africa and a few from the Caribbians.
This autumn I've decided to kick off with a world-music cross-over jam here in Oslo (Norway) to gather as many of the treassures out there as possible to play and discover each other.

Keep on flowin
Love and all he best
dafs

ps
Toured poland with a blues band called zuba many years ago
We were told that zuba is the polish name for some kind of a shepards coat
;)

One of the things I've found out here is that ignoring the label is often a good idea.... this was one of those moments.

well - considering that the last time I got excited about anything labled teen pop, Duran Duran was hitting the charts with Wild Boys........
That in itself is scary enough
;-P

yeah, i don't usually bump teen pop songs very often, but i guess i can make an exception :p . not like the genre matters, right? i still remember our first convo where we discussed changing it since your options were limited. you guys have come a long way since then on this site.

Hey Jacob, thanks for letting me know about the interview on Max Bumps. I just read the interview with you and Silkworm, what an amazing site where fans also participate by interviewing the artists. Like what you have to say regarding Silkworm questions, great job Jacob. Wishing you all the success from the Universe.

Hi Zuba checked out all three tracks "Innocent Child", "Eweh" and "Tomayziyi ("No More Wars). You have a powerful and unique voice. Digging the female background vocals in "Innocent Child". I host a podcast show on the internet titled Real As It Gets. Would love to have you on for an interview playing two of your tracks depending on how flexible you are. You can check out some of the interviews at www.drop.io/realasitgets. You can also email me at elijahrealasitgets@gmail.com for more information via time schedule and skype setup. Keep on writing great music. Much blessings and light.

Luck, mostly. : ) You can sort by the number of bumps now, and new songs haven't got any, so it's a little easier than it was.

News

Thanks for all the support from listeners and all those beautiful bumps and comments you give us.

After a wee bit of disappointement when we dropped 3 level and lost next to half our points we decided to keep our profile here and continue sharing our tunes with YOU, beautiful listeners!

FYI Zuba in the form you can hear here doesn't exist anymore but you can read more about that in our percussionist's interview on maxbumps.net

We have uploaded here our last album Allez!, which is available only for listening here but downloadable for a small 10$ at cdbaby (cheaper than anywhere else!)

You can also find here: our most recent work the Election Day EP and the 2003 Mangowanda EP, both available for downloads at scotloads.co.uk

And the last we upload (still do) is from the first Zuba album Chameleon (1999!), no longer available anywhere appart from... HERE ON T61!!! and you can download the tunes FOR FREE!

If you wish, our guitar player Robin Miller in on t61 as well with his acoustic solo tunes, his profile is MidnightOwl
