Bon Mod is an electro-disco duo from Istanbul.
The name, Bon Mod is a direct reference to “being in a good mood”, in other words, mainly just about headbanging and bootyshaking.


 Bon Mod is a veritable toybox with the trademark electro beats and 80s influence.
Out of control, they combine amidst fizzy synths and hard-edged machine effects with hotly-consumed lyrics. On stage, the band frames their mischievous and prankish songs with all their high energy and delirium.
They have since featured at major venues and festivals in the city supporting Mylo, New Young Pony Club, Ladytron, Robots in Disguise and Little Dragon. Also standing behind DJ decks at special nights and having their own party, the duo has recently seen smashing their fave records on the air just before Thieves Like Us performance.
Bon Mod’s very first release was Chocolate Cheesecake EP, including two stripped-to-the-bone electro songs, Take Me to Argentina and Chocolate Cheesecake, published in October 2009 by Remoov. In December 2010, the duo will be releasing their debut album, Idolize Yourself from Topkapi-Universal, which is also available at mp3 stores around the world.
