Blue Origin was established late in 2007 when, following a change in musical direction, the exisiting band welcomed members from the ashes of local Melodic Rockers "Autumn".

Having established a dedicated fan base from the previous two years of gigging and touring the new line-up set about immediately to build stronger bonds with the fans. Diving headlong into the studio to record an initial 6 track EP "Shadow of the Silhouette" their new demo "Dark Side of the Sun" showcases the fruits of the subsequent drive to write songs that grip, entice and entertain audiences.

Between the raw, powerful and bluesy voice of front man Nick Pilgrim; the seductive, dark and heavy guitar sounds of Jonne Walklate; the rhythmic powerhouse of Tom Eivers and the pounding bass lines of Dave Griffiths - Blue Origin combine the edge and elegance of modern rock with the charisma, swagger and feeling of traditional Blues and Classic Rock.
