In one way or another, we’ve all been there… we’ve all been bullied. From the bullying of kids on the playground, to the bullying in the corporate boardroom as adults - we’ve all been forced down a path not of our choosing. The usual roles are Bully, Victim, or Bystander… Bury The Bully chooses none of them but prefers to encourage positive alternatives to negative power struggles.
And thankfully, there’s refuge in music. Unafraid to have a positive message and proud to broadcast it loud and clear, Bury The Bully offers safe haven to all that listen. This is the essence of Bury The Bully and the general theme behind Life, Death & Wonder, the debut album from Bury The Bully.
Co-Produced by Mike Turner and Pete Lesperance Life, Death & Wonder was recorded at The Pocket Studios (Evans Blue, Sloan, Age Of Daze) and Vespa Studios (Billy Talent, Three Days Grace, Simple Plan). The album was mixed Mark Makoway (Evans Blue, Matt Mays).
Having shared the stage with bands like Simple Plan, Finger Eleven, Hinder and Faber Drive and scoring a slot on the Warped Tour, Bury The Bully has had the opportunity early in their career to perform for large, diverse audiences and has no trouble winning over fans every time. In only 10 months the band’s hardcore DIY ethic has already resulted in a solid fan base and a list of 26,000 friends on MySpace. Their strong live performance is due in no small part to the bond they share as a result of being friends for many years. Onstage, the band is both passionate and powerful.
Life, Death & Wonder is available via iTunes and CDBaby and has received overwhelmingly positive response from radio play in tested markets.
