CADUSEUS

None, United Kingdom

about +
After months of songwriting and auditions for a new drummer, Caduseus takes to the road again with a new tour which started this April. They now have a more incisive edge and are taking to the road with 6 new songs to add to their repertoire. Fans will hear their new material for the first time and demos are underway back in the studio.

Caduseus has had a heavy presence on the underground scene since the ‘90s and has generated a healthy following by playing live in reputable venues like the Cavern (Liverpool) and The Underworld (London), festivals such as Black Cat, Farmer Phil’s, Sh*t Fest and numerous gigs in and around Shropshire and Wales.

Hailing from Mid-Wales and the Shropshire border, these internet pioneers were the first UK band to fly a live webcast in 1996. The event took place at Celtica, Machynlleth, Wales, on the occasion of the Welsh Halloween, Samhuinn (significant in the Celtic calendar) on 10th November that year. The webcast was a great success, reaching far and wide to 22 countries, for a duration of one hour. It was picked-up by staff at NASA in the USA, who thoroughly enjoyed the show and who were, at that time, exploring similar technology for Space Shuttle-to-Earth communications!
