Candy Clash, Clément Froissart and Max Zippel first met at Art College. They worked together during their photography class and soon became inseparable. Therefore, they both decided to move into Max’s older brother Roger’s 20 square meters flat.
They went out much together, watched idly Blue Velvet and that’s how the three of them started composing. And so they created Candy Clash.


The band grew up listening to Grand Master Flash’s beats and Sonic Youth’s guitars. Candy Clash wavers from quiet melodies to intense controlled outbursts.
Clement as leader singer together with Max’s high-pitched voice as backing vocalist make it a very special band and explain why its audience is so fond of its explosive temper.
