Biography

Code Anchor was born and bred in Commack, New York. Originally founded by the core songwriting duo of Dan Keller and Ryan Schiff, the line-up has since evolved into the current 4-piece roster, including bassist Bill Burns and drummer Scotty Zwang.

Their goal from the start was to write and perform songs that are melodic, catchy, explosive, intelligent, dance-able and most of all... original. Code Anchor has an innumerable amount of influences, which encompass such genres as rock, jazz, punk, hip-hop, reggae, metal, funk, bossa nova, bluegrass, and, of course, video game music.

Many of us are earning points by bumping songs we like and try to get to the homepage and songs we do not dislike, but we earn points with them. On the other hand, we also have to save points to reach a higher level in the game. Our bumping behavior thus is influenced by the amount of points we can spend per day. By taking more time in between uploading songs, each of them will get more bumps and your popularity will grow. And the sooner they will reach the homepage, where they can get a lot of points.
