I just made 90 percent of our songs available to be downloaded for free. The one's that aren't, are in the process of being rerecorded (or are going to be remixed), and will be available for free download soon! If you are in Los Angeles on August 24th we're competing in Guitar Center's battle of the bands at the 705 club. If you are interested shoot me an email at troubleinthewind@gmail.com and I’ll get you all the details. Lastly, if you haven't already, check out my solo stuff at http://www.thesixtyone.com/#/Ryanstavern/ -Ryan

awhile back, 61 went thru some changes...and many artists and listeners lost A LOT of points and levels, however, with some hard work and interesting selections of my originals (some covers) i've managed to get CLOSE to level 14 (not quite w here i was before which was much higher)...so come bump the new material, give it a swirl in your ears ...

I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

Please allow me to direct your attention to my wife's page on thesixtyone, and our page as well. I have just posted songs on both profiles.

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be availalbe again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

ROCK!

Cactus needs your help! We’re a long ways from level 13, and could use a little nudge to get us there. If you can’t help us out, don’t worry about it, we still appreciate all of the support you’ve given us! We have been saving our song called “golden”, which is one of the best songs we have! It’s actually the only song that we’ve tracked in the studio, so the quality is much better. I put up the only three songs that we have that haven’t hit the home page, on our main page. Lastly, if you want a couple of tracks to own for free, send me an email at cactusbobband@gmail.com with the track names, and I’ll upload them to you! Thanks again for listening, and for all of the support! -Ryan

For those who don't know, I am listing my 10,000 favorite songs in this blog. This will take just under 30 years from start to completion. This blog can be found at Blogger, Livejournal, and Myspace for your convenience.

DAY 509
Brother Machine - I Had a Dream
From "No Home in this World"

When I think of musicians that I have met, it baffles my mind that some of them aren't playing to packed arenas worldwide. As far as I can tell, Brother Machine is the whole package, and should be a household name. Seth is a great singer, a great songwriter, and a great live performer at the very LEAST. He puts out better music than a lot of signed artists that I hear.

That's why I am thrilled to announce that I convinced Bro Mac to join thesixtyone. It may not be the key to super-stardom, but at least more people will hear this music, which is great beacuse it is music that is WORTH YOUR TIME. I urge you to check it out.

You should be able to listen to "I Had a Dream" on the Brother Machine's Myspace page.

Thanks for the support! I've added a new song called "Holes In The Wall." A true story of a bad relationship.
