Röda Linjen is an experimental ambient track based on a binaural hifi field recording from Röda Linjen (Red Line) from Stockholm's metro network. No musical instruments have been used, the whole soundworld has been derived from the field recording.

Looking for Sophie is an experimental ambient track based on Dutch sound architect KraftiM's lo-fi field recording from his walk through the idyllic Swedish small town Norberg to the retired industrial complex serving as venues for the Norberg electronic music festival 2005. Towards the end of the song the route – accompanied by some tender ambient Bach - passes through the famous Mimer venue and its deep acoustics. This track is a remastered version from Musictrade's VA album Norberg 2005 Field Mixes.

Hadn't listened to your contributions in while and one popped off my radio today. I had forgotten how much i enjoyed them. ...
Powerful stuff, some of your more ambient pieces leave me hearing music everywhere after repeated use.

Thanks for your kind comment on my wall. N.O.P.D Blues is certainly dark and intense and it's also a kind of documentary sound record that I find very impressive and captivating.

Hi medea, I think there is some T61 bug at work here.. I had marked 'Airports for Music' as experimental, and T61 should pick the genres automatically. For some reason it didn't in this case... let's see how it goes later on when I'll post another experimental track... anyway, big thanks for the support! :-)

I think "pop and dance" as categories is a little bit misleading, I usually don't listen to tracks in the pop category... I'd find "experimental" more appropiate.. just an idea.
