11/11 - Enemigo is dead. The project has expanded to include percussionist Dagan Helt, and take on on a more psychedelic pop/rock direction. The band is now known as Senator Fightmaster, and a debut EP, "Oopsie Icy Eepee," is forthcoming in December.

6/20 - The entire debut EP, "Blowing Right Through," is now listenable here on the website. Full length album rehearsing/recording in August!

6/19 - New songs up! Not featured from the front page: Windmills and Rotten

Also, help us rename this band if you can think of something neat and fitting.

biography
Enemigo was founded in 2007 by singer/songwriters Dillon Flynn and Michael Knackstedt as a Eugene, Oregon based project to create musically simple yet lyrically abstract country songs. The group swelled to include folk and rock influences, as well as guitar virtuoso and longtime friend Robin “Eddie” Daugherty and multi-instrumentalists Max Knackstedt and George Gulian. In December of 2007, they recorded Blowing Right Through, an EP featuring three songs from Flynn and three from Knackstedt. They are currently accumulating more material and hoping to tour.

You guys are great! You should come to CA and play some shows with my band Cactus Bob. We have a few of them listed on our page! www.thesixtyone.com/cactusbobband

i wouldn't say you're exactly like the inimitable captain beefheart but i think you've probably listened to the magic band on one occasion or another.

i'd also like to suggest you hold off on further uploads and give a chance for the audience to catch up to you. too many songs at the start is an easy mistake for most bands just starting out here.

and i'll gladly take the moog if you want to get rid of it. bumps away.

RE: From ghoulies and ghosties, long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night, good Lord preserve us...
thank you for the bump add

no preservation needed, just co-habitation. Thanks for the music

Haha you're exactly right! I didn't expect that if I referenced it directly, you would get it. Kudos for that.

I once saw a movie that involved a man who was hypnotized into acting like a bird. Then the guy who hypnotized him got killed, and the guy was stuck being a bird for the rest of his life.

The guy's name was Kobayashi, which is a sweet name--and also the name of Keiser Sose's lawyer in the Usual Suspects.

There's my two cents. Dig your sound. :-)
