Part of what has become known as the ‘Swedish House Mafia’ along with Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello and Axwell.

Eric Prydz is a Swedish DJ and producer best known for his 2004 hit single “Call On Me”, sampling the chorus of Valerie(the only sample ever allowed of Winwood’s work), which topped the UK singles charts for 5 weeks. Sales of the track were undoubtedly helped by a particularly eye-catching music video containing a suggestive aerobics fitness routine. Also he released successful remix of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall” known as “Proper Education”.

He releases music under the aliases of Cirez D, Pryda and Sheridan. The music Eric produces falls under the genre of Tech House and Minimal which is a sub genres of Electronica. Aside from producing music Prydz also runs the record labels Pryda, Pryda Friends, and Mouseville, which release most of his own music.

He is currently working with all members of The Swedish House Mafia, especially with Axwell. Axer is the name which Axwell and Eric Prydz have taken for their productions.

Although it is reported that Eric Prydz has a fear a flying, he does not let that stop him from playing in places such as New York, as well as Europe.
