I am as young as I feel in a given hour, wise when I am not the one needing advice. I prefer to be foolish and believe in love and trust and the goodness of people, than to spend my days surrounded by a wall of bleak cynicism. I prefer not to look up how to spell words like cynicism when I am more about what I am expressing.

Song writing is sacred to me, I have never in my life forced a song and I won't start now. Most of my songs are autobiographical or at least about something I have observed, although that sometimes means a collection of thoughts,observations and experiences from over a period of years that get forged into one expression. I like to leave them open for interpretation so they can mean as much to you as they mean to me.

I play flute and guitar, although I play guitar because no one will play it for me and I am rusty on the flute because I am always playing guitar. :D I recognize my strengths are my songwriting and singing but would probably never win a contest for either, which is OK because I have never been competitive with anyone but myself.

I did the "band thing" over a decade and burned out on it big time. It's like being married to 4 people and all their significant others are like the in-laws you can't stand but have to act like you love anyway just to keep the peace. I enjoy collaboration, but at this point in my life I am more interested in fully expressing what is in my heart and soul and mind and not compromising about it.

Eventually I will have some MP3s for sale. I keep recording live takes from performing in Second Life but I'm not happy with any of them yet. :D Hopefully in April. I'll probably continually change this biography. :D Oh God...Judge Judy is coming on. *desperately searching for the remote*
