The French Kicks are an indie rock group residing in Brooklyn, New York. Their sound is a mix of garage rock, post punk, and modded pop. The French Kicks are: bassist Lawrence Stumpf, vocalist/drummer Nick Stumpf, drummer Aaron Thurston, vocalist/guitarist Josh Wise and multi-talented Kush El Amin. Since 1999, they have released two EP’s and three full length albums; their latest release is Two Thousand (2006).
