Soo pardon the shameless self promotion, but I wanted to let you know we just put up seven new live recordings from our show last Saturday at Cinespace in Hollywood. The audio is really great and includes five previously unrecorded songs, including "Mercedes Benz" a cover of a Janis Joplin classic. I think it's arguable that these sound better than our studio album, but regardless I'm really excited to have em on line to show off to music aficionado's like your self. Cheers!

I've been cruising your music pages this morning. Don't think I've had as much fun since the first days of joining.
Some great songs there that really should have done more.

Cheers.

So, tonight I had a gig with my band for what feels like the first time in forever. We braved the ice rink roads, and played a show that wasn't half bad.

Then I came home and unloaded the gear, and my wife Rachael logs on to thesixtyone and tells me that not only is "I'm Only Sleeping" still on the front page, It has reached over 400 bumps! Wow!

It was already a pretty good night, but hearing that people are digging the cover so much is just the proverbial icing on the cake. You bumped the song. You helped to make this happen.

In short: Thank you very much!

ROCK!

Going to interview and photograph Hidari http://www.thesixtyone.com/#/Hidari/ live tomorrow night for a podcast. If you have any questions for them you have about 12 hours to get them to me. (18 if I can find a wifi hotspot for my iTouch or keep my notebook PC batteries alive long enough.) Catch me at puntspeedchunk@gmail.com

hahaha. thanks for the comment on our song's intro. it's funny cause a lot of people i've shown don't give the song a chance after the first 10 seconds cause they think it's all a joke, but it's actually the one we worked the hardest on in my opinion. the intro made me cry the first time i heard it though, so there was no chance in getting rid of it. thanks for listening and for commenting.
