We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end. 
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the 
right direction.

Kid Icarus is the recording project of Eric Schlittler. He has been releasing albums on his own Summersteps Records imprint since 1996. Releases on Summersteps include The Metal West (2005), Be My Echo (2002), Maps Of The Saints (1999), Summer 98 (1998), Try This At Home (1997), and The Angel Land Demos (1996). He also recorded a split EP with The Green Chair that was released on Prison Jazz Records in 2003.

There are also at least three other artists recording under the name Kid Icarus: an electronic musician, a pop punk band from North Carolina, and a hardcore band from Washington, DC, which self-released a 10’’ in 1996. 3 people from Kid Icarus formed kwisatz haderach.
