Here is a new song after a little while... I wrote Summer Morning already last summer but got to record it only recently. I hope you enjoy it! - Lena

Check out the new song Der Leiermann from our Doc & Lena duo page. It is perhaps my biggest favorite from the songs I have composed because of its magical atmosphere. The piano part came out as one of those blessed improvisations when everything goes right in the first take. - Lena

Hello again, dear friends and listeners! Here is my new song: Snowstorm Romance. It is a Russian style piano romance inspired by Pushkin's novel The Snowstorm and an old movie based on it that I saw recently. Hope you like the song! - Lena

If you like my piano playing, don't miss this new share from our Doc & Lena Selyanina duo. This song – like the whole album where it comes from, titled Nangilima – was inspired by Dmitri Shostakovich's piano preludes (Op. 34), and all songs on the album are somehow dealing with the theme of childhood. Perhaps you have seen the wonderful movie Fanny and Alexander from the Swedish master director Ingmar Bergman. This movie was also a source of inspiration for this song.

Hello dear friends and listeners!

Check out this new song from our Doc & Lena Selyanina duo. It is quite different from anything I have done so far, and I like it very much... a strange, electronic and etheric but at the same time friendly soundworld, a bit like souls communicating with each other somewhere high above this world...

Listening to Naught waltz at the moment. Your music is stunning. You definitely have mad piano playing skills! This is exactly the kind of music I like ot listen to when I work on my art. By the way, I love the piece "Neptune" from the Doc & Lena collection. I totally get lost in that piece. (That's a good thing). Thank you for making Piano paintings available. One other thing, our cat Blue looks eactly like the cat pictured in your photo galllery/

No need to buy, you can download my Piano Paintings album with cover artwork from here (zipped). That is in mp3, if you want better quality, get the audiophile FLAC version from here (torrent), full artwork included also there.

Love, Lena
