The name "Les Barons" (pronounced lay baron) is taken from the group of voodoo spirits by the same name.

Les Barons was formed to record and perform the blues songs of Exu Nazares. And eventually found themselves being the number o... (+) expand

Mega Upload Party Wakers: Two Things:
1. To double check the current Pacific time, just post to a wall and check the time tag under your name.
2. There will be two ways listeners will find your upload. One will be the normal Browse>activity search, and the other will be thru links to band pages listed on my wall and myktoronto's. please put your upload in the top position of your featured 3-songs, so it can be found quickly.

thats great. the official list of 61 songs are set, but everyone is invited to upload a song during the hour long wake, especially as some euro bands will upload later in the day. I'd be happy to add you to the bottom of the listing, even though it isn't necessary to participate. If you have the song title already, let me know. Upload times are between 7pm and 8pm Pacific (U.S.) time on Thursday, May 8th.
