To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

Thank you for being a part of it.

Mammoth Life recently returned home to Lawrence from our journey to New York City this past October where we performed at CMJ this year and are all getting settled back in... returning our attention to finishing our forthcoming sophomore release a, Spaghetti-Pop, Western opus titled, An American Movement. Writing and recording such songs as "Upon The Shoulders Of Giants," "Dreaming Is Destiny," and "By My Own Anthem, One's Self I Sing" among others.

We are releasing our first single from the album, "Boy Blue, An American Lion" this January before the album drops mid 2010 and I am sneaking the preview to thesixtyone.com before the single is pressed to 100 limited run cd's and released at a one off release party here in Lawrence!

Follow our weekly ML survey post, see rare photos of the group and keep up on the daily news of the group @ our facebook page... add us if you'd like!

Of course you can just search facebook for "Mammoth Life" to find us! :)

there's a Mega Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller on May 8th. Time or times TBA.

ANY 61 artist who wishes to join in should wall post their song name and band name on KosmikRay 's wall. There are 54 bands confirmed so far and hopefully the number will round out at an even 100.
