Hey,
I’m Matt. I’ve been obsessed with music - creating, listening, and understanding, since I was very young. My first instrument was the piano, but I found that I could work well with anything I got my hands on. (Guitar, Bass, Harmonica, Ocarina, Accordian, Synth, Mandolin, Ukelele, etc.) It wasn’t too long before I started writing music and eventually I found myself writing video-game tunes for a decent bandwidth RPG resource page, www.warofthemagi.net. From there I started jamming with local musicians, but found there was a pretty depressing shortage of drummers. Having a friend with a cheap set, I hopped on and after a month or so I was fluent. Drumming has since become a great passion of mine, as I now play drums for three bands(not including my own projects). With a wide array of instruments, less than mediocre recording equipment, but big ideas and overflowing passion, I will continue to write, record, perform, and make my music heard. I hope the ride is as fun for you as it is for me.
