Hey, anyone out there know how to mix and master, and eq correctly, I need help. I don't know how to correctly EQ. Any material out there one might suggest to learn the basics is greatly appreciated. I like to make mashups, but don't like the muddiness I keep getting. Please help me.

Can u say shitbag.

Single Wide Dumper, or SWD was created by a shitbag while living in a shithole.

SWD has no formal training as a musician, nor does he call himself one.

Most songs will be in the raw, and probably stay in raw, cause, he does not know what he is doing. So any feedback you could give him would help. Even if u just want to talk shit, that's helpful too.

And all tracks where made in his "Single Wide Dump", except for the ones made in his Ma's Kitchen.

I never learned anywhere actually, I just taught myself by messing around with the programs for a long time. As for where I get my tracks, Im not sure what you mean by that. Shit, I dunno. I come up with most of my mix ideas during Chem class. Get a notebook and write down whatever you can think of (you may already do this.) Carry it with you at all times. Play anywhere you can. ANYWHERE. I play mostly house parties, but have also played clubs. The parties are always more fun. Just do what you do and enjoy it. Maybe other people will too. It works for me.

I use ableton live to make all my mixes. For the acapellas, I warp the full song (cause it's easier to find bars with a full beat) then copy and paste it over to the acapella. It seems to work pretty well.

here's a useful article i read on getting nice mixdowns and using eq. i'm by no means an expert on the topic but it helped me a lot to getting my stuff to sound better.
