Mecanico was formed by Nicolas Parra & Ignacio Ramirez. Two Chilean Producers releasing their first self-titled EP on 2010. Been remixed by international acts such as Moonchild (Australia) and Kol13 (France). In 2011 Mecanico began playing live shows with its new 5 piece formation; with Omar Van de Wyngard on drums, Christopher Timmermann on keyboards and Fernando Soro on guitar, complementing Ignacio Ramirez on bass and Nicolas Parra on vocals. Even with just a few months playing live shows, Mecanico has already played with bands such Miami Horror, Bag Raiders, The Sounds, Jessica 6, Fred Falke, Chk Chk Chk, The Raveonettes, Dntel, VHS or Beta, Uffie, and other local acts.
