Biography

Mesita, the project of a 20-year-old self-taught multi-instrumentalist from Littleton, Colorado, is running strong again after a brief hiatus. New recording sessions are happening and new sounds are pumping and being put down on tape. The new music will most likely have a more mature and darker sound to it. I've been into hip-hop pretty much when it comes to new music. Aside from that, I dig the old stuff. Rock, jazz, soul, samba, etc. This is amazing music you have here and I'm really diggin it. It's getting me into alternative and the other stuff I used to enjoy. It's hard to find the good stuff nowadays but you have it here. Looking forward to more from you in the future!

Your talent and sound remind me a bit of Beirut (Zach Condon), especially the voice layering (which I freakin' love) and he's done pretty darn well for himself and is one of my favorite artists.

Those who love Mesita, check out Beirut. Buy both artists!

Dont mention it. I love that vocal layering technique so much that I gave it a shot, even if all I have to work with is a guitar, fruityloops, and two hours. Yeah.. Ill fix it when I can.

Just got my cd (#5!), truly excellent stuff, or at the least exactly the type of music I've been waiting to hear.

Best of luck in the future.

You got some really good stuff going here.

Just curious-- were you going for an Ewe sound with the drumming in Tent Circles (like http://www.thesixtyone.com/#/TheDodos/ or Sigur Ros' Gobbledigook?) That was my first impression, anyways.
