MICHELLE CRUZ is a singer/songwriter who blends jazz, folk and rock in her music. Michelle is a solo artist and also a member of the band Vonrenzo.

Michelle was asked to perform for her music hero, the late Jeff Buckley, at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Fan Gathering and Tribute concert in Cleveland which proved to be a life changing experience.

"It was a surreal experience being there. To be part of a celebration for someone who inspired you so much and to be thanked by his family, friends and fans was nothing short of amazing. I felt like I had to stop myself and ask if it was all really happening. He was the reason why I finally picked up a guitar. A dream come true."

Named “Sultry” by the Jeff Buckley International Newsletter, Michelle has opened for the likes of folk legend Judy Collins and appeared on WXPN's World Cafe Live.

After suffering a loss in the spring of last year, Michelle took a year off but is back recording new music. "Not Saying Never" is the first single off the forthcoming album.

"I feel blessed to be working with some wonderful musicians on this project. "Not Saying Never" was the perfect song to get me back in the studio."
