Emilie Hanak aka Milkymee, an ever-evolving and unpolished French artist based, in the past 7 years, in Sweden. In 2006, Milkymee put out “Songs for Herr Nicke”. While Milkymee’s voice combines raw intimacy and chalky confidence, her melodies and arrangements are both voluptuous and ethereal.

Her second opus, ”To all the Ladies in the Place, With Style and Grace” - named after a Notorious B.I.G track – is dedicated to a series of female figures close to her heart: her mother; the American radical feminist Valerie Solanas; the girl next door; her childhood lost friend Nathalie Brown; her girlfriend, and other women she likes or dislikes.
