45TH BEST OF BOTH WORLDS BUMP

because of issues with the system's new sensitivity to wall posts that are too similar to previous wall posts, i have been unable to find a way to put up my usual statement regarding yesterday's bump and giving the links to today's. you can still find the embedded links on my page if you're interested. thanks for your understanding.

44TH BEST OF BOTH WORLDS BUMP

greetings. yesterday saw the addition of 11 bumps and 7 listeners to "another man." meanwhile " vegrymgethic" added 8 bumps and 7 listeners, almost doubling its complement of both. not too shabby.

today we have a partnering of two fine songs to contrast and compare. from raspbury we have a pleasant acoustic rocker (151 b/61 l). from moth vellum we have a song i would put in the category of epic rock (101 b/53 l). this song rewards an extended listen so don't be in any hurry. i definitely want to thank raine for the partner song suggestion. so now, with an open mind and an open heart, let's give these songs a listen.

this sentence is here for the sake of uniqueness.

Raspbury - Down the Drain
Moth Vellum - Against the Suns

38TH BEST OF BOTH WORLDS BUMP

yesterday was a great day. we added 43 bumps and 6 new listeners to "turning me on" while adding 15 bumps and 6 listeners to "of my mind." now that is how to do it.

today we have an impressive live performance from the artist soundcircel (119 b/50 l). our partner song is a suggestion from mallowniven and is a good-natured rock tune from comeg (83 b/50 l). i must admit i have never taken the trouble to listen to anything by comeg before and i'm impressed by what i hear. i also want to take a second to say again that if you have a suggestion for a partner song send me or circerhode a tunebox about it. so now let's give these songs a charitable listen and bump if the spirit moves you.

Soundcircel - A Sonik Life ( live version)
COMEG - Ill Be There

hello everyone. i want you all to know that i'm not in the danger zone for hurricane ike. i appreciate everyone's concern.

yesterday we added 12 bumps and 4 listeners to "been so long" which seems a bit skimpy. i thinks that's a pretty good song. the helvetia song got and additional 10 bumps and 5 listeners.

today we have an interesting pair of tunes for our listening pleasure. from slimgirlfat we have an exciting dance number (397 b/113 l) to wake us up. to partner with that song i picked a more contemplative number from king tut (158 b/63 l). we would appreciate your suggestions for partner songs. get in touch with us for details. and now, with an open mind and an open heart let's give these songs a listen.

yesterday we added 9 bumps and 5 listeners to "porgy." we also managed to garner 18 bumps and 10 new listeners for the ian narcisi song. a big thanks to everyone who listened and bumped.

today we have a couple of songs that have already shown the ability to attract listeners. let's see if we can get a few more for each one. we'll start with an extremely pleasant cover of the old ralph mctell song "streets of london" performed by fable sinatra (409 b/ 96 l). moving on we have an intriguing rock tune with some powerful lyrics by moving mountains (182 b/ 76 l). so now, with an open mind and an open heart let's give these songs a listen.
