Omg!!! The musical sounds amazing! I will definitely keep my antennae alert for any news of it showing up anywhere in my vicinity. I adore a good musical. Oh, and the theatre looks amazing. Absolutely delighted you had such a great evening. Yea!!

Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. I loved that movie! I haven't seen it around on cable or anywhere in a while, come to think of it. I'm sure the live show must be a lot of fun.

Have a great time at Adele, rainy or not!

I couldn't help but notice you have posted a wonderful picture of a historic theater. That is absolutely stunning detail in the arches and the ceiling. And the chandelier - WOW. Those are the venues I enjoy attending to take in the architecture just as much as the performance itself.

Yes, in a way it is like Christmas. Lots of boxes full of fun. Getting to see the students faces as they try everything on is often the best part. Especially my youngest classes - for them costume day probably is just like Christmas! We still have about 2 months until the recital, so there is still plenty of time for practice. I'll be relaxing this weekend. It is supposed to be a rainy spring weekend: perfect for good food, drinks and movies.

Just got back from the musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, it was AMAZING! Vibrant and outrageous costumes and performances, stunning sets (including 'Priscilla', the bus they travel the Aussie outback on), loads of songs, terrific transitions and surprises!! I was absolutely blown away by it, apparently the show is travelling the world, so if it ventures near you I recommend it!!

There were no photos of the production allowed, I snuck a couple of the set but we were 'in the Gods' so not the best. Here is one showing off a bit of the marvellous restoration done of the historic Isaac Royal theatre following the earthquakes, and the set at intermission

We popped into the grocery store and I picked up some salmon, feta, spinach burgers, which seem to be my current passion. :-) The great news is that we walked everywhere and I did a lot of lifting and didn't feel faint for a second. Can you believe it?? It actually dawned on me yesterday that when I've had trouble it's been after a period of "pushing." Such as a grocery cart or vacuum. Could there be something in that?

Wow, I wasn't here today. Hmmm, seems the day got away on me. It was a friend's birthday and he dropped by around noon. I took him out for brunch at a local restaurant that has a wonderful menu and everything is very tasty. Deep conversations ensued between mouthfulls of crab & shrimp benedicts. Then he did my hair and a card reading that was pretty intense. He left and I tackled the laundry. So, fun and fulfilling. :-)
