Polly Mackey is a seventeen years old singer/songwriter from the UK. She has been playing on her own for quite some time, but lately felt the need for a backing band, and hence came the Pleasure Principle. The band is besides Polly on vocals; Adam Valentine - drums, Dan Davies - bass, Tom Hassall - lead guitar, Stan Dickenson - synth/keys. After playing at venues throughout the UK, including Liverpool Sound City Music Festival and MTV Music Week, the group will play at the 2009 SXSW International Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
