I dig the new piece Ray!

Thanks for letting me know! Sadly I missed it, as it came through just before 2am my time, and there appear to be a bunch more people riding the Ray Chase bandwagon.

Congratulations on your popularity!

I love the new pieces they have two very complex, yet distinct sounds.

At last reminds me of a very entertaining argument between two people lying secretly within the instruments. It's very neat and unique.

the Bookstore Jig is just what it says. My imagination shows me an old timey saloon with everyone throwing punches left and right haha. It's a lovely jingle!

the only reason I've gained so many points though, is due to your candy bar song. You see, without the candy bar song I would amount to absolute zero. I owe you a bagel.

Very "visual" music, I would love to see this preformed on stage. What happens between "Candy Bar" and "At Last"?

Tell us please.

You Sir are a musical genius.

Ray, your tracks grow on me more every time I hear them. That's a good thing until they get stuck in my head :)

I'm 3000 miles away in South Carolina although I wouldn't mind being in California at this point. All of your "songs" remind me of my friends and I being as retarded as possible and it's ridiculously hysterical.

basically I'm trying to say I love you.

thanks for the love.

Hey Ray - Candy Bar still holds a special place in my heart, but Secrecy is another wonderful vocal experiment. I have this feeling you might appreciate this little video that a high school friend of mine made as a part of his performance art (I think a recent YouTube sensation ripped off his concept almost beat for beat, as my buddie's was done in 2004). Go to the link below and choose the 2004 video (with the eye):

Your songs reminded me of his work somehow... enjoy! He also does amazing visual art that you can see at his site. Anyway, thank you for your inspired musical insanity - I look forward to more.

If I'd only have known you were going to release a new song... Secrecy approaches the caliber of Candy Bar. Hopefully it will do as well.

No Problem! I am glad I was in the right place at the right time to grab your latest slices of genius! It's SO refreshing to hear stuff that doesn't follow the usual sixtyone formula of bad covers/annoying remixes/indie bands pretending to be unsigned.

"Candy Bar" hit me just like of a production I saw of Artaud's "Spurt of Blood". I assume as a theatre major you know about that, and for all I know it might be the inspiration.

If not -- go and read up on it -- my guess is that you will love that style of theatre...

I was so excited to scoop the Discovery out of the clutches of all the other Ray Chase groupies :)

You crack me up! I'm jazzed you think I'm a cool mom. I certainly hold no status on this site or any other, but how cool is it that YOU think so.

BTW I can eat up your Candy Bar all day long without gaining any calories whatsoever!. Keep up the good work being you!

What can I say? When a man wants to discover a song, but someone beats him to it, what else can he do to express his love?
