SNW is an experimental fusion ensemble with three core members pursuing group improvisation: Luke Palmer, keyboards; Eric Hoaglund, drums and Evan Cantor, bass. Luke, a self taught classicist, emerges as the Grand Kufta Of Funk behind as many as four keyboards at a time, pumping out an energizing mix of Hammond B-3 organ and a vast array of sound effects. Eric doubles as a guitarist and songwriter when he isn't serving as the rhythmic touchstone on drums and percussion with Strange New Worlds.
