To our faithful listeners,

We've decided to formally shutdown thesixtyone.com -- our servers will go offline at midnight, May 1st 2017.

Artist tipping and music purchases will be functional until then, so please spend any remaining credits by month's end.
A final payment will be made to artists following the shutdown.

thesixtyone was our baby for most of our twenties. We're incredibly sorry we weren't able to keep things going in the
right direction.

2007-2017

Thank you for being a part of it.

Farewell,

James Miao & Samuel Hsiung

Sivart, greetings to you! I want T61 to be uber popular again. I think I can help by telling my friends about the site and giving them links to songs I have been listening to here. I have invited some new artists to put there stuff here also, and old artists to update their stuff. What do you think? Can we save the site?

Almost all the good travelers are gone. At least the active ones in the group. Some went to u v u m i (had to put spaces, because t61 banned the word from comments), but I don't see them active over there anymore. Others from t61 went to cherrypeel or stereofame. There's another place, but I forgot the name.

I'm also on the old layout. Once they take this down, I'll go somewhere else. The new layout is horrible.

I don't know... but I think it has more to do with the songs I've "hearted". Although, some days it seems like I get a lot more rep than usual. Maybe it's a glitch?

It's very sad, isn't it Sivart? Maybe it's temporary, but it looks very much like the guys have tarted t61 up to sell off, doesn't it? It just shows they didn't have a clue what a good thing they had going.
