Biography

Thirty years after the craft of rhyming was recognized as a recordable form of expression, few music lovers, critics and writers have put an MC next to the likes of Jim Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan or Marvi... Hey there Sum, thanks for the note on my page/wall a few days ago, hope you have been able to make a start on the collaboration and that things are well with you.

Good to see your songs are regularly posting to the home page!

You're welcome. I was really happy for you, but I never would have known you had gotten married if mathmanmrt hadn't told me. I like most of what you do so it's easy to give you bumps.

Good to hear things are going well for you. Thanks for getting back to me. Your music is a blessing and the world should know it!

hey man, just taking a minute to tell you those three new ones are outstanding. "trans-am" is up there with any hip-hop song in the last 20 years, "constant tina" hits all the right notes for an urban ballad, and "rapper stabs fan" is just fun. keep 'em coming and i'll keep bumping.

take care man.

I remember when I first heard Trans-Am back when I laughed hysterically at the Juicy Fruit reference...

Hey there Sum, my contribution to "For Supergrover" went online today - "Unicycle" with Glenn Case on vocals and me on everything else!

I see you dropped 5 tracks here in 5 days - wow - busy busy! All good tunes too.

By the way I was going to leave this comment on your listener page, but you either need to add one of my tracks or change you r account settings to allow comments there :-)

Hi Sum, I've not received anything from you yet. When & how did you send it?
Congratulations again, good to see all the comments on "If If" wishing you both well.

to all visitors of Sum's page:

As a few here already know, Sum got married on Saturday, and it was a fantastic event. Besides the festivities which were as unique, personal, and well-crafted as all of his music, it brought together an incredible group of friends, family, and artists that I was fortunate to be part of. That aside, if you've been a fan of the music that he's been overwhelmingly generous in quantity and quality to share with you, you can take a minute to give him a little gift of congrats. Here are some options, in suggested order of effectiveness:
1. Go to iTunes and buy some tracks off of The Lil Folk. He can really use the money right now; weddings ain't cheap.

2. Bump his music here (again, if you already have) to help him gain the exposure he really does deserve.

3. Send him mental energy of good luck and prosperity (actual profile messages would be nice, but you can imagine how 300 people writing "Congrats!" would fuck up his page.)
Thanks!
badtouch
