Carolin Heiß, The central thread of all songs is Carolin’s voice. It’s that real emotional, touching thing in her voice. The way she expresses her lyrics and herself are unique and personal. Her interpretations transport the songs to a high emotional level. The lyrics and phrasing of the melody lines are poetic, clear and catchy. The voice tender and spherical, yet psychedelic and distorted but always sensual and somehow relaxed. Carolin loves to play around with effects on her voice like pitching, delays or distortions. She thinks it’s boring to sound like an angel all the way...

Marc Sidney Muller, originally from Bern/ Switzerland, Jazz- and Fusion guitarist who had already listened to Mahavishnu at the age of thirteen, graduated at the guitar institute of technology (G.I.T.) in Los Angeles. In 1990 Marc moved to Munich together with his Atari and all his guitars. Marc is the mastermind of the sounds and playbacks of Superstrings. When Carolin and Marc met, it was an encounter of a lifetime for both of them. Inspired by their love and passion they created their own musical identity: Superstrings Superstrings will release their album The Sound of Slow in spring 2006.

Favourites: „From Here I Go“ – the title song of the movie „Polly Blue ‘Eyes“ by Tomy Wigand which will be released in Germany on October 27, 2005.

„Our Story“ – the title song of the German debut film „Hypochonder“ of famous author Maggie Peren which will be broadcast on TV in November 2005.

„All Can Come Close“ – a wonderfully atmospheric duet with famous actress and singer Jasmin Tabatabai.

Superstrings is working together with composer and producer Christian Fleps (Brian Molko/ Placebo, Timo Maas, Valentine, Patrick Nuo...) for a few songs.

The former personal engineer of Prince at Paisley Park, HM Buff, who used to mix records of Prince, No Doubt, Chaka Khan, Maceo Parker mixed the Superstrings album.
