Sweetbriar started as an old-school bar band - think Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers or Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. They're here to party, and they want you to know it.
Their roots lie in the rock & roll, blues, and soul music they grew up with, and as a group they wear their influences heavily on their sleeves.

A vocal force to be reckoned with, Sweetbriar hits hard with three-part harmonies led by lead singer Stephen Drolshagen. Add the raunchy guitar lines of Jon Drolshagen and John Byrnes, and the band creates a sound saturated by good times and rock & roll. At their heart, the tasteful flavorings of Dan Brandao on bass and the virtuoso performance of Issac Slutzky on the keys keep the crowd going long into the night. A ragamuffin tag-team of drummers keep the beat steady and bring the funky goo that ties it all together. The album features both Matt Coppock and Dave Lewis on drums.

Sweetbriar strives to remind that rock & roll is and always will be music that fills your soul and moves your feet.
