SUBSCRIBER ALERT!

The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check KosmikRay 's Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Also, feel free to let anyone you tunebox with in on it, as it is open to ALL artists and ALL listeners.
Enjoy the music, as we celebrate for Mike...

***please post a copy of this notice on friends or subscribers walls...we need to get the word out.

One of our songs, "Renegade Planet," just got revived. If you have the time, swing by and give it a listen. It's happy. You can be happy too. Yep!

Dear listeners. I regret to inform you that Michael Miller has passed away this April 8, 2008. He had mentioned this site to me and so very much appreciated all feedback that he got from people. He lived for the fans and I am so glad you have discovered his music. It is sad to know that no more of his great talent will be created, but it is so good to have the songs he has recorded. Please view his profile for more information.

Thank you all.
His son,
Justin

There's a new episode of TODAY on THESIXTYONE.COM Fan Podcast out on my feed and embedded players. The website will catch up when Bagman returns from the dead. Today I bring you the following artists:

Nine Inch Nails, Tripp Algiers, ikki, Champion Vinyl, Band of None, Cornbelt Chorus, Contents Under Pressure, Makeshift Prodigy, Sam Hokin, El Jugador, and plenty of stupidity.

Casters of Pod need bumps too. If you haven't already voted for my show in March please do so.

Hey there,

You bumped "Pencil Me In" 3 times. I appreciate that. Thank you.

I won't be putting any new songs on here for a long time. I'm BEYOND maxed out with 21 songs. I will have to reach level 20 to put up anything new, and the highest rated artist is at level 17 right now. It's safe to say it's going to be a while.

Then again, 21 songs is a probably a lot to absorb. Should you choose to hear more, you can!

Thanks again for your support.

I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

Please allow me to direct your attention to my wife's page on thesixtyone, and our page as well. I have just posted songs on both profiles.

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be availalbe again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Cactus needs your help! We’re a long ways from level 13, and could use a little nudge to get us there. If you can’t help us out, don’t worry about it, we still appreciate all of the support you’ve given us! We have been saving our song called “golden”, which is one of the best songs we have! It’s actually the only song that we’ve tracked in the studio, so the quality is much better. I put up the only three songs that we have that haven’t hit the home page, on our main page. Lastly, if you want a couple of tracks (or a couple more) to own for free, send me an email at cactusbobband@gmail.com with the track names, and I’ll upload them to you! Thanks again for listening, and for all of the support! -Ryan

DAY 509
Brother Machine - I Had a Dream
From "No Home in this World"

When I think of musicians that I have met, it baffles my mind that some of them aren't playing to packed arenas worldwide. As far as I can tell, Brother Machine is the whole package, and should be a household name. Seth is a great singer, a great songwriter, and a great live performer at the very LEAST. He puts out better music than a lot of signed artists that I hear.

That's why I am thrilled to announce that I convinced Bro Mac to join thesixtyone. It may not be the key to super-stardom, but at least more people will hear this music, which is great beacuse it is music that is WORTH YOUR TIME. I urge you to check it out.

You should be able to listen to "I Had a Dream" on the Brother Machine's Myspace page.

Hey! I've got more (upbeat!) songs to post, but the sixtyone just changed the uploading max rules...and I can't upload anything else until I hit another two levels. So, if you have any spare bumps, any help would be immensely appreciated!

Yes, I'm a musical beggar, and that is sad. But, we indie musicians need all the help we can get!

I have no shame.

Either way, thank you again for all your support!
