Biography

The idea for cover-ops is simple - to bring another dimension to already existing popular music. With today's music slowly descending into indecipherable nonsense, we try to reclaim classic tracks with modern taste. with our original recordings we strive to bring the forgotten glory of true music back to the mainstream.

Inspired garbage - fact is these versions are better than the dog shit that is the originals. Wonderful satire. I'll bump everything you do.

You guys are high class. Such lovely British accents!
But really, I'm worried, make sure you're not doing any permanent damage to your voice.

horrible but hilarious. on a serious note- you guys really should see an ENT to make sure you're not causing permanent damage to your vocal cords/larynx.

The Cover Ops' music has made me rethink my life. I have decided to join the army, become a monk, and teach orphans how to make such soul-touching sounds.

thank you cover ops

Have you guys considered covering any Jandek songs?

John Cage said, "Which is more musical: a truck passing by a factory or a truck passing by a music school?"

And while any individual can bump them from the Browse Zero page with a pricey first bump, the Cover Ops can simply delete and upload new tracks to keep appearing there. So let them stay there heading up the Zero Bumps page. Surely no-one can argue that they haven't earned the right to have no bumps. What harm are they doing?

Say what you like - by the standards these guys have set themselves, they have succeeded. They have clearly set themselves the task of challenging everyone else's perceptions regardless of what anyone thinks, and hey, you can't say they haven't done that - look at the reactions below.

The famous American composer John Cage argued that all sounds can constitute music and composed the famous 4'33", which is commonly considered to be 4 minutes and 33 seconds of silence, but is in fact the accidental environmental noises occurring for the duration of the piece. What appears here straddles the boundary between music and accidental environmental noise, and these pieces could therefore be a link between John Cage and more conventional music. It could certainly be considered aleatoric in character. Perhaps the Cover Ops could complete the circle by doing a cover version of 4'33". That may be more popular with T61 listeners than these tracks.

Of course the stuff's complete bollocks.

This stuff is crazy - it does make me laugh but won't make me bump.

The guy coughing into the mike during Amazing really makes that song.

This stuff is so bad that when I hit the play button while my speakers were up, my property value plummeted.

Neither funny nor smart, the only talent displayed here so far is that these goons were able to boot the computer.

Like stoned 12 year olds who think they're being clever after they finally figure out how to record something, these assrashes think this is hysterically humorous, totally unaware that what they deem "cool" it's only appreciated by others as emotionally stunted as they are.

There are not enough "Never Play Again" buttons ...
