In October 2006, saxophonist Doug Cave, pianist Jamie Scuffell and guitarist Harry Srirathan formed a jazz trio based in Reading. After 5 months of playing together, the band acquired its telepathic rhythm section; bassist James Mildren and drummer Sam Gosset.

Now, with the addition of vocalists Vicky Tay and Viv Murphy, as well as trumpeters Rhys Patey and Tom Patrick, the band is climbing towards musical revolution with its pulsating bass lines and funkadelic sound.

The band have been heavily influenced by artists such as Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane and even the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band is set to break the mould of the Reading music scene with the raw energy that is created when performing. Watch this space - Harry, June 08.
