Orlando, Florida's The Sugar Oaks have cultivated a singular sound since their inception in 2003. Their bittersweet, subtropical indie pop draws from 70s AM golden-harmony hits, The Band, Abbey Road, and classic R & B.
They regularly open for artists like Elf Power, Dr. Dog, the Hold Steady, Voxtrot, Of Montreal, John Vanderslice, Magnolia Electric Co, etc.
In June 2008, the Sugar Oaks released a new three-song digital single, "No One Can Love You Like Me". A full-length album is planned for fall release.
