biography
Turtuga Blanku turns sunshine into music, literally.

Caribbean-based Turtuga Blanku makes fresh and catchy tunes. Some of the songs have an eco message, others are smart funshine, but all of them are created in an eco way, by making use of only solar power.

The first three songs of the upcoming debut album are available for a listen here, on last.fm, on myspace.com/turtugablanku as well as on the official website website:

www.TurtugaBlanku.com.

New songs are released regularly.

No worries White Turtle. ; )

Any chance that you're based in the Caymans? Of course, that would be a long shot since exploiting the one obvious natural resource we have (i.e., solar) doesn't seem to take purchase... well, at least it doesn't strike the local monopoly as being profitable when they are guaranteed a 10% return on their infrastructure investment. Burning oil to power the island just seems more compelling I guess. It is so unbelievably ... I find it tough to find a better word than "stupid" ... yeah, stupid, that the value of projects like yours cannot be underestimated. So, Bravo to you, sir.
