Trunkfunk Records in-house production team “Tyken” consists of Carl Ryden and Fredrik “Dj Nibc” Nyberg. The duo name ‘Tyken’ is taken from a swedish west coast slang phrase meaning cheeky, nasty or cocky. Though the boys are harmless, the forthcoming plans for their upfront housemusic project is to say the least, Tyken! Apart from Tyken, Carl writes & produces music under his own name and monikers such as ‘Poker Pets’, ‘Third Member’ and ‘High Life’ to name a few. As well as writing/producing, Carl injects Tyken’s sound with his guitar/bass. Fredrik is one of Swedens most active club djs with many years of experience of djing and promoting clubs. He has won several accolades for his clubs and dj skills. During the last six years Fredrik has managed to get front runners such as Brian Tappert, Barbara Tucker, Dj Pierre, Grant Nelson, Ron Carroll, Dj Spen, Deep Swing, Axwell, S.U.M.O., Knee Deep, Dj Disciple, Paul “Trouble” Anderson, Soulproviders, Ian Carey, Rasmus Faber, ATFC, Shapeshifters, Matt “Jam” Lamont behind the decks at his legendary club RA.
