Walter Matyas aka Vid lives in Western Canada writing lyrics and music. He is a guitarist who developed 23 stringed instrument called Veenar. Great part of his life was dedicated to monk's lifestyle. His music is a result of his deep inside into life. Currently he works on his new repertoire and rebuilt of his unique instrument by Michael Dunn.

"Music plays great part in my life despite the odds. I believe that a music comes from a silence, but you need to be alive in order to hear it.(...) I do not mean a dead silence but a thoughtful silence where you listen. I spent 8 year in India living in the ashram. I live life a normal man now."
