Biography

Hello Earth.

My name is Vincent Parrish.

I love composing music in my spare time and hope to do the same for films and/or concerts one day.

Most of my works are just themes and progressions, I haven't really completed a lot of them.

But I do hope you enjoy!

If you'd like to contact me for anything my email is vinceap@gmail.com

Thanks for listening!

also check out a couple of friends of mine who are creating incredible music right here on 61.

Thanks! It's not as easy as you make it look (;

Hey Vincent =]

You should try and find a copy of EWQL sometime =] It's really great stuff! If you want to try making the piano more realistic, try varying the velocities of your notes.

Learning to read music is always good =] I was raised learning how to read music, but now I just improvise 95% of the time with perfect pitch.

Also, you personally hand out your CDs? =P

Hey Vincent =]

Thanks for the kind words! Really appreciative and I'm very happy that you enjoy my songs. You've got some amazing songs as well. Do you use EWQL?

Thanks again =]

Damn Vince! There's some staggering depth to Day 11. The opening measures are gripping. Way to go!

Also Vince I was thinking of bass clarinet it has such an amazing throaty resonance. (damn that sounds like porn or a sassy Beaujolais) Especially with deep notes they can be sounded and held for ages; like organ pedals.

I just listened to Day 01. For some reason it reminds me of autumn. I was thinking; most brass would be kind of overbearing in your work but the one thing that always goes well as a transition between reeds and strings is French Horn. A light touch of that during something like Day 01 would give a sense of awakening. Sweet.

I'm getting a synth keyboard for my mac soon, so once I do maybe I can relate better what I mean.

hey. if you wanna expand our future collaboration to be a three-piece band...

i got a drummer that wants to work on some music with me. we're thinking of electronica style rock stuff, probably instrumental. if you're interested, we need a synth player... and you were the first one to come to mind.

let me know if you're interested.

haha, why are people leaving? Just because six people are banned because they VIOLATED ToS doesn't mean end of the world. Also the whole blocking people deal from your wall, isn't that big of a deal because there is an OPTION to turn it off. It's like people that are complaining are spoiled and always get what they cry for.
