Aberdeen based Patrick Baird has developed a unique musical identity, one that would sit comfortably in a playlist alongside The National, The Postal Service, The Cure, The Shins, Mogwai, Yuck and Modest Mouse.

Wiredrawn’s music is recorded mostly in Scottish living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, using a few reasonably priced microphones through an antiquated Apple Ibook. Samples are either found on the web or recorded first hand while out and about in the world.

Currently writing and recording his first official release – ‘Loose Lips Sink Ships EP’, the entirety of Wiredrawn’s previous demo material is available for free on various sites across the web. As Patrick puts it – ‘’I’m more interested in getting the songs out there and listened to than making a profit from them. If people like what they hear, then all I’d ask is that they share it with other lovely, likeminded people.’’
