One bored evening in February, Zachary found an acoustic guitar with two strings in his basement.
He began promptly to fiddle and play with it and found some fun riffs.
At this point he began compulsively writing and recording music. Music of a modern type indie lo fi variety, unlike any of the weird avant-garde-classical previous to this.
They were recorded cheaply with Audacity and a webcam microphone, but people have liked worse things, right?...
And thus The Circumstances were born.
