I noticed you were one of my listeners on thesixtyone, and was wondering if you’d vote for me for the Austin City Limits “Sound and the Fury” competition. It’s a chance for me to play on one of the main stages during the Austin City Limits festival, which would be awesome! I really only need a few hundred votes to be considered in the top 100, and you can vote once a day until voting closes to the public on the 22nd of August. He lived for the fans and I am so glad you have discovered his music. It is sad to know that no more of his great talent will be created, but it is so good to have the songs he has recorded. My "Concept CD' is up at http://www.myspace.com/7juel and it is available for one week, then i will be putting my CD up on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc....I'm still stumbling through those final stages on the last few songs on this new collection...and the final 'cut', not to mention a title that resonates in me, the way I expect anything to resonate, cuz it always does, just sip a lil more java and breathe...it just happens!

I have tried to show appreciation to those that have taken the time to listen to my music on here, but I especially appreciate your bump for "Sister".

As you may know, I had to delete 9 songs to make room for a new upload, and I wasn't really sure that anyone was going to take a chance on it. Especially when you consider that some listeners highly discourage artists from deleting songs. It was a painful decision, but it was also the only way that I was going to be able to contribute anything new to this site.

With all of this in mind: Thank you SO much! I'm glad you bumped it, and I'm glad you liked it.
