In this year’s Austin City Limits contest, I still have four days until voting is closed to the public. As of right now, I am about 465 votes away from making the first cut. With your help, I’d like to try something amazing. I still want to try to make that first cut (the top 100). Unrealistic? Un-attainable? Impossible? I need your help! My "Concept CD' is up at http://www.myspace.com/7juel and it is available for one week, then i will be putting my CD up on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc....I'm still stumbling through those final stages on the last few songs on this new collection...and the final 'cut', not to mention a title that resonates in me, the way I expect anything to resonate, cuz it always does, just sip a lil more java and breathe...it just happens!

I have tried to show appreciation to those that have taken the time to listen to my music on here, but I especially appreciate your bump for "Sister".

As you may know, I had to delete 9 songs to make room for a new upload, and I wasn't really sure that anyone was going to take a chance on it. Especially when you consider that some listeners highly discourage artists from deleting songs. It was a painful decision, but it was also the only way that I was going to be able to contribute anything new to this site.

With all of this in mind: Thank you SO much! I'm glad you bumped it, and I'm glad you liked it.
