from the bridge: The sixty-one MEGA Upload Party Wake for Michael Paul Miller is set to go off from 7 to 8 pm Pacific Time on Thursday, May the 8th. With 61+ artists slated, it should average about one new tune per minute, and there will be additional uploads hours later due to late uploads. Check my Wallzine listing of the 61 official artists for your favorite bands, and let your favs know they are welcome to "crash" it and upload then if they didn't get the word in time. Also, feel free to let anyone you tunebox with in on it, as it is open to ALL artists and ALL listeners.
Enjoy the music, as we celebrate for Mike...

The show includes music from Citadels, Hot Bitch Arsenal, RAC, Condensator, and Tenpenny Joke. Please have your friends/fans check it out and possibly vote for us on podcastalley using the button below. It promotes all of us at the same time.

So...here's a bit of forewarning, you mad bumper you. We'll be uploading a new tune, "Big Black Car," to T61 sometime around 12:06pm (CDT) today. It's a happy-go-lucky murder song with a fun beat. It's also a track from our latest CD, The Center of the Universe, which is currently being featured as a "recommended CD" in the April issue of Paste Magazine...which makes us very happy.

You can, in fact, listen to our music at a Paste listening station in your local indie music shop. While doing so, feel free to exclaim loudly, jump up and down and make generally orgasmic faces. This will make the store manager very happy. (Us too.)

"Enough with the shameless self promotion already," you're probably muttering to yourself between whispered curses. "Get your poncy verbiage off my comment wall, you twittering hack."

All right already. Just throw a few bumps our way if ya like what ya hear...OK?

CloverRex recently revived our song "Good as Gold." It's one of the very first songs we posted here on T61 a while back...I'm glad to see it's getting another shot at "the big time." If you get a chance, check it out.

Oh, by the way, don't be alarmed by the numerous backwards messages buried deep within the mix of the song. We're just subliminally encouraging you to get plenty of fiber in your diet. And check the air pressure in your tires regularly. And floss. No big deal, seriously.

Just flow with it.

Hey,

Check out my page when you get a sec. My sound is similiar to a modern day Billy Joel/Bon Jovi. If you like Billy Joel or Bon Jovi then I think you'll really dig the tunes!

Thanks!

David

PS: If you do not like the music of EITHER Billy Joel OR Bon Jovi then DO NOT VISIT MY PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

All right folks...here's a heads up. At or around 7:13pm (Central Daylight Time) today (March 26) Admiral Twin (that's us) will upload a new track to T61. It's called "The Fools' Brigade." It's in 6/8 time. It's cynical...but fun. There's even a real-deal tavern singalong chorus at the end. We think you'll like it.

OK then...

thanks so much :) that's so great that you're still checking out my profile and what's going on with my music, you're great!

I'm really bummed about this upload cap...I've got new songs that I'm really excited about but I can't upload them, I think I may delete a few songs I don't like as much to make room, but I'm not even sure that will work. :\

anyway, thanks a lot!

I have tried to show appreciation to those that have taken the time to listen to my music on here, but I especially appreciate your bump for "Sister".

As you may know, I had to delete 9 songs to make room for a new upload, and I wasn't really sure that anyone was going to take a chance on it. Especially when you consider that some listeners highly discourage artists from deleting songs. It was a painful decision, but it was also the only way that I was going to be able to contribute anything new to this site.

With all of this in mind: Thank you SO much! I'm glad you bumped it, and I'm glad you liked it.

ROCK!

I like to promote the music of my friends when I believe in their material. There's one singer that I should have already been telling everybody about a long time ago, but she has the disadvantage of having me doing the mixing, mastering and music for her songs.

Please allow me to direct your attention to my wife's page on thesixtyone, and our page as well. I have just posted songs on both profiles.

"Presenting to You" was created for a benefit CD that should be availalbe again in the near future. The website needs to be revamped.

"Need Stilts" is often considered to be one of the greatest songs I have ever taken part in writing.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

ROCK!
